Sketchbook drawings

In my new video I was going to go through all three sketchbooks but I thought I'd post drawings from the third one here instead. Scrat from Ice Age, Wall-e and Eve, Elsa from Frozen and I started a drawing from Spirited Away.

A Big Hello!

So I just made my first ever vlog!
It's just an introduction video but I thought I would add to it here.

My name is Helen, I am 19 1/2 years old and I like to art.

I left school when I was about to turn 18 after earning my Highers and Advanced Highers. I left to study a general Art and Design course at the local college where I learned an unbelievable amount. We did everything from painting and drawing to clay work and textile.  Each section was two weeks long so I was only able to work with textile for that amount of time before we had to move on to something new. It was the first time I had worked with textile and I fell in love with it.

I attempted to get into university I think three times now? Failing each time. So I am now at a new college studying a 2 year course in fashion and textile.  I am learning so much and I enjoy every bit of it. Today I found out that I have passed my life drawing class completely so I don't have to go to any more life drawing classes! I actually loved life drawing (I think I was the only one in the class that did) so I kind of wish I hadn't completed it so quickly.  But since I'm starting my 'Inspire Sketchbook' then I'll be keeping up with my drawing.

With my written blog (aka this one) I'm just going to post whenever I feel like posting. I don't want to be giving myself deadlines to do posts as that's restricting creativity. But I am going to try my hardest to keep this updated as much as possible about absolutely anything to do with what I'm experiencing; which will mainly be to do with art and textiles.

So if you want to be nosey and know what I'm getting up to and what's been inspiring me etc etc then please follow, subscribe, whatever else it might be, and keep a look out for future posts :D
